Lambert Loses, Allen Gets Called "Schmuck"

Our boy lost on Idol last night. We are super sad. We don't really care about American Idol, but we were excited for a new gay (?)/Jewish icon combo. The only way we can feel better is to watch amazing reaction videos, to know we are not alone. We are not the only ones who love Adam Lambert, and who feel like throwing some Yiddish insults in Kris Allen's direction.
We LOVE that the woman in the background calls Allen both a "schmuck" and a "schmo"!

The Lamberts and Allens became very close during the show. There's no hatred between them at all. I know you're joking, but it's sad that most Allen/Lambert fans actually believe they were out to get each other. Yes, the results were totally skewed by the homophobic voters and people from Arkansas, and everyone, INCLUDING Kris, knew that Adam should have won. He didn't even want to accept the award. Kris is a sweet kid with a more mellow, vanilla style that nevertheless has a real sincerity to it. And he has come a long way. I don't want to knock him, he has talent, but Adam is in a different league.
BTW Adam is my second cousin (I'm not joking, we share a great grandmother), and our whole family supported him rabidly during the competition. I am bi, genderqueer and Jewish too, so it got kinda personal for me on more than one count. ;) (And possibly yet another argument for the "gay gene"?)
He is better off though. He won't be the first Jewish American Idol but he'll be a Jewish rock icon to be remembered long after he's gone. Which is better?
